Urška’s love for horses shines through her eyes. She breathes, lives, works, and dreams with and for horses. By her side stands her steadfast partner, Boštjan, with whom she runs Hlev pod Gorjanci. Just a few steps from our homestead, at the top of our village, you’ll spot a vast pasture where horses graze peacefully. Among them are two Lipizzaner, Nikita and Beti, who belong to Urška and Boštjan, while the others are enjoying a holiday under their exceptional care.

Urška and Boštjan are more than happy to introduce you to their horses. You can visit and feed them every day between 6 PM and 8 PM, but it’s best to notify them beforehand to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Nikita and Beti are perfect companions for everyone – from beginners to experienced riders. They are exceptionally friendly and will provide you with truly special moments.

You can choose from a variety of activities, including petting and bonding with the horses, leisurely walks in the arena, or trail riding.

• Accompanied trail rides through forest paths leading to Otočec Castle and further to the golf course.

A biologist by training, Andreja possesses a wealth of knowledge about bees, honey, plants, and the beautiful honey garden that complements the therapeutic beehive located along Novo Mesto’s walking path.
