Yellow kohlrabi soup

  • 350g cubed kohlrabi
  • 150g diced potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 35g butter
  • salt, white pepper, bay leaf
  • 1 l water
  • 0.1 l sweet cream

Fry potatoes and kohlrabi in butter, cover with water, salt. Save a few cubes of cooked kohlrabi, blend the rest with a hand blender, add pepper, add cubed kohlrabi and cover with sweet cream if desired.

If you are vegan, replace the butter with olive oil and leave out the cream, it will still be very tasty.
